Internet Explorer 10 is the one which gives you experience of HTML5, CSS3, canvas, 3d and other features of todays rich internet. IE 10 is an updated HTML5 powered web browser but most importantly its the one which we saw in the Windows 8 consumer preview. Internet Explorer 10 was released on Feb 29, 2012 with Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
We can sum up some of the feature update of its as:
- Beautiful and interactive Web applications are easier to deliver with support for several new technologies like CSS3 Positioned Floats, HTML5 Drag-drop, File Reader API, Media Query Listeners and initial support for HTML5 Forms.
- HTML5 Application performance improves across the board, as well as the ability to deliver better performance with more efficient use of battery life with new technologies like Web Workers with Channel Messaging, Async script support, and others.
- Web application security improves using the same markup with support for HTML5 Sandbox for iframe isolation.

Have a test drive of Internet Explorer 10. Or test it on Windows 8 Consumer Preview. In case you don’t want to use the Platform Preview give a try to the stable release of IE i.e. Internet Explorer 9.
