Windows 10 is available for download and free upgrade

Today Jul 29 is the remarkable day in Windows history as Windows 10, the best Operating System is releasing. Windows 10 is already out there, and is ready for download or a free upgrade now. Starting from Midnight EDT one can easily go for the next generation OS. Till now we were using the Insider builds. In this series we ended up at build number 10240 with final update which was released yesterday. Now we can jump to the RTM of Windows 10 via Windows update. Before going further first confirm whether your device meets System Requirements for Windows 10.

Windows 10 is available via upgrade or direct download using Media Creation tool from Microsoft. This media creation tool lets us either upgrade or download the ISO of Windows 10 which we can use later for fresh installation. It’s up to user whether they want to do a fresh installation or simply upgrade their current Operating System to next generation Windows. In case you download the ISO then you can make it’s bootable disc or removable drive for installation.

Download Media Creation tool now and follow the steps given below: Media Creation Tool x86 | Media Creation Tool x64

Step 1: Either choose “Upgrade this PC now” or “Create installation media for another PC”.

Step 2: Choose Language as per your need, your Edition like Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro and your architecture like either x86 or x64 bit. You can also go for both.

Step 3: Now choose where you want your ISO file to be mounted. On USB drive or on your secondary storage.

Step 4: Media Creation tool will now download the selected ISO file for you. Please sit and relax.
