Microsoft Launches Nokia Lumia 638 in India Under Nokia Brand

After acquiring Nokia’s business and services division, Microsoft launches first Lumia under the branding of Nokia as Nokia Lumia 638 exclusively on Amazon store for India. Last month Microsoft announced its first Windows Phone with brand name of Microsoft as Microsoft Lumia 535 at price of 9,199 INR and Nokia Lumia 638 is currently available on Amazon at whopping price of 8,299 INR. By looking at this step it’s clear that Nokia brand is not dead yet and may be we will see more Lumia smartphone in coming days. Microsoft India is quoting that Lumia 638 is the most affordable Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone with 4G support.

Previous launch of  Lumia 635 was quite impressive as it boasted with 4G connectivity and this time with few upgrades over memory from 512 MB to 1 GB Lumia 638 is ready to purchase. If we look at major features of both Lumia’s they are not different from each other but for India Lumia 635 is not available. Powered with Quad-core 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, Lumia 638 makes it’s way to India on 4G support disappointing selfie lovers but goes long way with 1830 mAh battery life.
