How to update Microsoft Security Essential (MSE) via cmd

Microsoft Security Essential (MSE) is tool from Microsoft which is available free download and use. Update to this antivirus tool is also free and there are lots of ways to update mse. One of them is for advanced users who would prefer to do it via cmd. Follow simple one simple step, one simple command and signature update will start ASAP.

Open cmd.
Run following command:
“%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Security Client\Antimalware\MpCmdRun.exe” -SignatureUpdate
OR via Run dialog box:
cmd.exe /c “%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Security Client\Antimalware\MpCmdRun.exe” -SignatureUpdate

And its done.
