Jan 7, 2009 Microsoft released Windows 7 Beta for public testing. After about a month, Today Microsoft announced Windows 7 SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) strategy and Windows 7 has got 6 editions.

* Windows 7 Home Basic
* Windows 7 Home Premium
* Windows 7 Professional
* Windows 7 Enterprise and
* Windows 7 Ultimate

Microsoft is paying attention on development of Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional, that’ll be offered for Home User and small business respectively,
